Transmission Policy Manager
The Transmission Policy Manager is responsible for administering, advocating for, and planning for Agency power delivery resources. These resources include transmission and wholesale distribution assets, contracts, and regulatory requirements in wholesale power markets. The Transmission Policy Manager oversees the Agency and members’ transmission ownership allocation of ownership rights among members & customers. The position requires a subject matter expert who will understand and administer members & customers and Agency Grandfather Agreements (GFAs) in MISO and the source contracts with various parties that created these GFAs. The Transmission Policy Manager position requires expertise to be able to introduce and vote and advocate for policies to benefit the members & customers.
