CMPAS utilities do everything they can to lower costs for homeowners and keep businesses operating competitively. As their agency partner, CMPAS is committed to supporting their efforts through programs offered.

The vast majority of CMPAS members are subject to Minn. Stat. § 216B.241, which requires public utilities to have annual energy-savings goals and, in achieving those goals, allows them to have energy conservation improvement programs or conduct other conservation improvement activities. CMPAS works with several contractors who provide CIP services to our members in Minnesota.
