At mid-point 2021, CMPAS has elected new officers, hired a new chief executive officer, helped members meet power market reliability challenges, and much, much more. We continue to build upon the planning and work outlined in the 2020 Annual Report (found here) and accomplishments from previous years.
As the year began, the CMPAS board elected new officers. They are shown in the photo from left to right: Secretary Dave Meyer, Glencoe Light and Power; Vice President Nate Zimmerman, Janesville Municipal Utilities; Treasurer Steve Nasby, Windom Municipal Utility; and President Crystal Johnson, Granite Falls Municipal Utilities.
CMPAS also welcomed Jay Anderson, our new chief executive officer, who is leading us in an assessment of our members’ needs.
The assessment will allow CMPAS to build upon our 2020 Statistics and accomplishments. Those accomplishments continued into 2021 as our members’ power supply planning and assets helped the Midwest power grid survive freezing cold and blazing hot weather.
